Year 4 Visit the National Gallery

19 January 2016

On Tuesday 19th January Year 4 visited the National Art Gallery in London as part of their Art studying the work of Claude Monet.

When they arrived they had a guided tour of the works of art to do with water particularly Monet's water themed paintings which were based on the area in France where he lived.

The children really enjoyed the talk and afterwards had a coach tour of London taking in some of the famous Landmarks such as the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament, Trafalgar Square and many more.

A really enjoyable day was had by all.
