Year 4 Visit to Barmouth

29 September 2017

On Friday 29th September the children and staff from Year 4 travelled to Barmouth on the Welsh coast. The visit was an important part of their curriculum, about examining the features of the British coastline, looking for inspiration for their writing and art work.

Whilst there they took part in several activities including rock pooling, building sandcastles, flying kites and sketching different things they saw on the beach. They also looked at all the different features of coastline and went on a sensory walk.

Although it was a long day, as the children had an early start, they had a really lovely day and were a credit to the school.
