Year 1 at Hartlebury Museum

5 November 2015

On Thursday 5th November Year 1 went on a visit to Hartlebury Museum as part of their work on what Mount Pleasant was like when it was first built and what kind of jobs their great grandparents would have done.

Whilst on the visit they saw toys from the past and then became Scullery Maids and Boot Boys which were jobs that their ancestors may have done. They cleaned the kitchens, did the washing and ironing, made butter pats and ground the coffee.

The children had a great day out and found out a lot about the past.
