Year 5 at the Black Country Living Museum

26t April 2018

On Thursday 26th April Year 5 went on a fantastic trip to the Black Country Living Museum as part of our topic work on the Victorians.

We took part in a Victorian school lesson and decided that we definitely would not have liked being a pupil during Victorian times. A visit to the sweet shop was also a highlight, but we’re not sure about the Victorian’s use of crushed beetles to colour the sweets red!

We had a fantastic day and learned so much about life in the past.
