Year 6 Residential to Astley Burf

9 to 13 October 2017

A group of Year 6 pupils went on a four night residential to Astley Burf Adventure Centre near Stourport.

Whilst on the residential visit the children walked around the local area, visited Bodenham Arboretum, where they experienced a Forest School day, took part in an activity day, including a climbing wall, high ropes, archery and biking.

The children also enjoyed playing in the adventure playground, having fun on a small zipwire, playing table tennis and football as well as many other team building games.

On the last evening the children enjoyed hotdogs and a sing-song by the camp-fire.

The Friday morning was spend completing an orienteering activity around the site and a quiz about Astley Burf.

The children were impeccably behaved and were complimented on the staff at Astley Burf for their manners and behaviour. A wonderful time was had by all.
